Thai Cuisine is one of the most popular cuisines in the world. And with good reason, it’s balance in flavors and texture, intricate details and their signature spicy edge has every corner of the world raving about their food. Some of Thailand’s popular dishes are even included in the list of “Most Delicious Foods in the World”.
Movenpick Hotels and Resorts Cebu recently launched “Thai Fun Food Festival” last September 10, 2016 at their Sails Restaurant. A unique dining experience serving Thailand’s specialty dishes and MORE. Prepared by none other than Movenpick Phuket’s resident Chefs – Wiwat Yong-en, Sutee Yamkratho and Teenasit Nakrua – Your food is surely served hot, flavorful and authentic!
You can find Classic Thai favorites like the Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai together with more diverse specialties like the Pan Sib Tua (Mung Bean Pudding stuffed with sticky rice puff) which looks like our traditional empanada but with a twist. And my personal favorite for the night which was the Goong Sa-Long (Fried Prawns wrapped in Vermecelli) – Just cause I love anything and everything crispy and crunchy.
Pan Sib Tua
Make your own Pad Thai, season it how you like (extra spicy) and see one of the Thai Chefs cook it right in front of you and pair it with a bottle or two of Thailand’s famous Chang Beer and you’re good to go. After all, Harmony, is the guiding principle behind each Thai dish.
Movenpick Cebu’s “Thai Fun Food Festival” starts from September 10-18 at the Sails Restaurant. Buffet is at 1600++ net per person.
Dine now and get a chance to win a roundtrip ticket to Movenpick Resort and Spa Karon Beach Phuket and experience Thailand in the best possible way.
